The Walnut is about what’s valuable in life. An all-residential development, with a focus on sustainability – the first of it’s kind in Boulder. Every effort has been made to embrace leading-edge building practices.

Working in collaboration with the Rocky Mountain Institute – a global leader in “green building” solutions – our development team designed The Walnut with a forward-thinking environmental awareness. With a majority of units having multiple sides of glass to provide fresh air and maximum natural daylight, The Walnut embraces natural comfort and energy efficiency.

All materials, from floors to tiles, paints and solid surfaces, have been selected for their beauty as well as their reduced impact on the environment. We anticipate that The Walnut will be the first LEED-certified all-residential building in Boulder.

As you’ll soon see, choosing sustainable practices does not mean having to compromise either design or comfort. The Walnut offers both.
